Projects on Forgerock
User Registration and Authentication Portal:
Objective: The primary goal of this project is to introduce novice users of Forgerock to its authentication and registration features.
Project Description: Students participating in this project can create a web portal for user registration and authentication using Forgerock Identity Gateway. Students will set up a registration page where users can create accounts before initiating an authentication process to verify user credentials. Afterward, they'll configure Forgerock policies for user access control - providing students with practical experience managing users in Forgerock.
Implementation of Single Sign-On (SSO):
Objective: This project seeks to implement Single Sign-On (SSO) using Forgerock.
Project Description: Students can simulate a scenario in which multiple web applications are hosted on Forgerock Identity Platform and configure Single Sign On functionality so users can sign in once to access all applications without needing to reenter credentials multiple times. They will configure identity services and policies within Forgerock for seamless SSO across these apps - this project gives practical experience with SSO implementation and user access management.
